About me

Whilst studying at Falmouth University, Hannah developed her process of drawing with wire to create three dimensional sculptures. Hannah uses inspiration from every day life especially with birds and animals that inhabit gardens and worldwide.

Hannah works to capture their characters and poses in her completed pieces so that each design is unique.

‘I love the process of interpreting lines from my drawings to create a three-dimensional design using wire as a pencil’

Hannah has also completed special commissions including a wire memorial installation for Truro Cathedral and three wire pheasants for the National Trust at Calke Abbey. In addition to her animals sculptures, Hannah has also produced giant plant structures and life-sized orangutan for the garden, and for music lovers, red wire guitars.
